New 2019 Nissan Altima

The new 2019 Nissan Altima was revealed at the New York International Auto Show at the end of March. The Auto show takes place from March 30-April 8, 2018 at Jacob Javits Convention Center, New York, City.

The new Altima features ProPILOT Assist as a standard feature. This reduces the amount of driver acceleration, steering, and braking input in driving conditions like driving on a single-lane highway. Rear Automatic Braking helps the driver detect parked objects when backing up. If it does detect an object the brakes will be applied to prevent collusion. The Nissan Safety Shield consists of Rear Automatic Breaking, Automatic emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning, radar-based Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and High beam assist. These technologies monitors the front, side, and back of your Nissan.For the first time on an Altima, the 2019 Altima offers All-Wheel Drive, and this is available on all of the trim levels. The new engine delivers a V6-level performance with 4-cylinder fuel economy, contributing to cleaner emissions and better fuel economy.

Expressive design

The new expressive design got inspiration from the Nissan Vmotion 2.0 Concept. The new frame is lower, longer and wider with 19-inch wheels and tires. Five trim levels will offered: S, SR, SV, SL, and Platinum. The interior features a smooth and flowing look creating an open environment for comfort. The seats feature additional bolstering for passengers’ comfort and support. The standard NissanConnectsSM include Apple CarPlayTM and Android Auto with an 8-inch multi-touch color display. Apple CarPlay offers directions, phone calls, text messages, and listening to music or podcasts. Android Auto connects to Google Assistance to keep a hands free experience by saying, “Ok Google”. Nissan manufactures vehicles in Smyrna and Decherd, Tennessee and Canton, Mississippi.  Nissan first came to the United States in 1958, and has evolved tremendously since then.
