Home Is The Key: A Nissan Story

We hope that you are having a great month as we near the beginning of May! It’s not always about selling cars here at Gray-Daniels Nissan North. Nissan does a lot of work in the community, and works with youth and nonprofit organizations as much as possible. We hope that you enjoy the blog post this month. Read and enjoy!

We teamed up with a pair of NFL greats and the Habitat for Humanity for an amazing project. Heisman Trophy winners Marcus Allen, Tony Dorsett, George Rogers, Charlie Ward, and Danny Wuerffel  teamed up with the Habitat for Humanity to build the “Heisman House” for Kellecia Shannon. She was the eventual individual who the Habitat home was built for. This was all a part of the “Home is the Key” campaign which has run all month. Another great feature of this campaign is the fact that Nissan donated $1 to Habitat for Humanity every time #HomeIsTheKey was shared on social media.

Habitat for Humanity is a well-known nonprofit that has built homes for scores of families and individuals over the years. The Christian housing organization works in over 1,400 communities’ throughout the U.S. and in more than 70 countries. Volunteers work with Habitat employees to build homes for individuals and families. This assistance is a key component in terms of offering affordable housing to those in need.

If you ever have any worthwhile volunteering opportunities in the Jackson area, don’t hesitate to let us know about it. Our staff would love to get involved.

Until next time,

Team Gray-Daniels Nissan North
